Judging Criteria

Who is Eligible to Apply?

Students in grades K-12 by the ________, 2026 deadline who are enrolled in a public, private or parochial high school or home study program in the Elbert County, Colorado. Others may coach the student, but the student must do all the work on the project.

Work must be emailed to ECKidsArt@gmail.com in PDF format only by midnight on the deadline above. Video must be less than 25 MB and in MP4 format. Only one submission per student is allowed. So kids, send your very best!

Theme:

Celebrating the 150/250 Birthdays of State of Colorado and United States. Art representative the the spirit of the western that celebrates history, people, places in a authentic, orginal creative manner.

Orginality

Orginal works only. No AI element or markers on the works allowed. Reference photo/art may not be used in creating the art without the artist's permission.

Application:

Student must fill out application, sign it, obtain parent's signature and email it along with image or video of art. Application is found HERE. It is not fillable. Print, fill out and email along with art image to ECKidsArt@gmail.com by competition deadline.

Student and parent must sign release that student's art may be reproduced by Republican Liberty Ladies of Elbert County for fundraising purposes. Release is found HERE.
